![]() I use windows 7 64-bit and I already tried several things in audio-options so i wasted money rerturning them for a new set for the same fault.Īt first i thought it was just too loud and the mic where toosensitive but then i realised it's the same problem if i mute the mic mute ure mic n see if ure friend ure chattign with can hear it. try it for ure selves chat on skype or any other programme crank up the music in the phones. exactly the same problem so a friend i have on second life has the x11's so i told her to turn up some music and mute her mic n turn it up loud with mic muted thru her phones and i could hear her music thru her mic so there is definatly a design fault on the x series turtle beach of the what u hear in the phones relaying thru the mic out put even when its muted on the switch on the side. so i returend them to the store and got a brand new set sent. I bought a set of x12's from a ebay store and i was getting complaints in chat like skype or steam chat they could hear my music playing thru the head set thru my mic when the mic was muted on the head set. I turned down the audio recordinh volume in windows itself and moved the mic much closer to the mouth I found a solution which isn't the best one probably but it works: Julian on June 13, as you see i had the same problem ![]() You can find these cables at most electronics stores or order them from Turtle Beach.
